Graham and Nichola Hawkins welcome you to Kerswell Farmhouse. Their aim is to offer a unique, luxurious, boutique bed and breakfast experience in their 400-year-old Devon longhouse which is set in the idyllic landscape of the South Hams.
Graham spent his professional life in education but after 17 years in the Middle East, leading a large group of international schools, he returned to Devon to develop Kerswell Farm. He puts his academic background in history to good use by offering personally guided tours with topics as diverse as tin mining on Dartmoor and Agatha Christie’s Devon.
Nichola brings to the venture a passion for design and fine cooking. After a career in interior design she set up a company restoring old farmhouses and cottages as well as providing a design service to hotels and bed and breakfast establishments. Her love of cooking has been life-long and she has a particular interest in producing breakfast dishes based on locally available produce including Kerswell Farm's own bacon, sausages, eggs and tomatoes as well as home-made preserves.
